Time saving: - Repetitive tasks: There are some intuitive features I'm learning about, while I was creating a template for printable stickers, I discovered after one 'duplicate' was dragged under the last, the next one would go to the space under that one with just using the duplicate again.

Saving time as I learn more and more. This is the easiest to learn in graphic design software. I like that I can edit parts of a design and link or embed the update. I have created book covers for print , e-book templates, and recently a sticker series convention logo sticker items for event items. It has helped me save time revising templates instead of building from scratch with each one , and I was able to create exactly what the client wanted. I've also created marketing graphics for social and launches of books and media for clients.

I can create custom templates to save time with each project and there are a lot of built in custom templates already. The main thing I like the least is that the Affinity software is not 'one' integration. It is three different programs.

This is not my favorite thing for a few reasons, but, mostly I wish they were one, because I have started at least three projects in the wrong one of the three I have. Not really a finished app I have been trying to integrate Affinity Designer into a professional workflow for a number of years now but I've come to the conclusion that it's just too painful and there is nothing to indicate that this will improve.

Back when I first purchased this app the developers were promising a roadmap of future improvements which would bring it closer to some of the industry-standard vector apps out there. It's been two years now and not a single thing on that list has been implemented. It offers a pen tool, a library of brushes, and the ability to create custom brushes and adjust stroke options to give your lines and vectors your desired look and feel.

When we connected a Wacom tablet to a computer, we were happy to find that the brushstrokes responded well to pressure sensitivity. We found the gradient and opacity features easy to use, and we could add custom guides to a brochure to keep in mind where the folds would be.

The one illustration tool we wish this software had was image tracing, which automatically turns a raster image into an editable vector. You can still hand-trace an image using the pen tool and create your own vector, but that takes more time.

Similarly to Illustrator, this software was designed more around vector tools than pixel tools. Effortlessly add a contour to any object or increase the width of single open curves.

The options you have for setting up grids and guides is almost unlimited. This is what we mean by power. From the beginning we developed our engine to work to floating point accuracy. What does this mean? Layout all your screens, pages, menus and other items in a single project across any number of artboards.

Export artboards, or any individual elements in your designs, with a single click. Symbols allow you to include unlimited instances of the same base object across your project. Edit one, and the rest update instantly.

Illustrator'dan bekledigiklerimi cok daha ucuza cogu zaman daha iyi olacak sekilde aldim. Privacy practices may vary based on, for example, the features you use or your age. Learn More. Company size: employees. Pros -Purchase once and use forever.

Not fit for purpose Not really a finished app I have been trying to integrate Affinity Designer into a professional workflow for a number of years now but I've come to the conclusion that it's just too painful and there is nothing to indicate that this will improve.

Since going cross-platform there have been many reports of Designer's instability and since the implementation of Apples Metal API Pros It's cheap, although it still remains less powerful that some free apps Cons Development seems to have ground to a halt on this app. Cons Nothing that I can think of at the moment, all is rainbows and smiles after few years of using it.

Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer Pricing and plus I know the product for several years. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer Seamless and without any regrets, wouldn't go back to Adobe in a million years. Time used: Less than 6 months. Pros This software is much easier to learn than Adobe Illustrator. Cons It doesn't have as many functions as adobe Illustrator. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer Inkscape was a great tool to get started with my graphic design, but not nearly as well designed as affinity designer.

Best features for graphic design without breaking a bank Pros Interface is intuitive. Cons For some people who need more powerful features, it can offer less. Review Source This review was submitted organically.

A true 21st graphics suite for creatives I really put it to the test. Pros The fact that Affinity Designer is the best vector-based drawing software on the market right now and so incredibly affordable is outrageously great. Cons There is no auto trace. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer What's not to love about being able to own your own software and not having to feed it to a subscription scam? I have an affinity for design.

Pros Very easy to use with tremendous capabilities. Cons Not as well known as Adobe Photoshop. Good alternative to Adobe suite Pros This is a great alternative to illustrator. An Illustrator for me I started using Affinity Designer because is a smaller app than others than do practically the same for me.

Pros Affinity Designer is light, fast and new. Cons Full of bugs, I hope they could fix them soon. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer Affinity Designer is lighter and faster. Industry: Photography. Affinity Trial User Pros I started using this program because lightroom would not read my nikon z files.

Cons This product is closer to photoshop, I was looking for an alternative to lightroom. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer Nikon Z6 ii files were not compatible with lightroom 5. Industry: Media Production. An Affordable Champion I've been looking for an alternative to Adobe illustrator for years now, and Affinity Designer is the one. Pros Affinity Designer is very inexpensive, but you wouldn't know it from using it. Cons While Affinity Designer is very similar to Adobe Illustrator, it does behave quite differently in some ways, and will take a little longer to adjust coming from Illustrator.

Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer Much more professional interface than Gimp. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer Very affordable, no monthly contract. So impressed with Affinity Designer! Pros This is the easiest vectoring program I've ever used for lineart and I'm amazed at its affordability compared to insanely-priced subscription services like Adobe.

Cons I only have two gripes with this program. Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer I looked at a lot of free and inexpensive art programs that had positive reviews but I finally decided to go with Affinity Designer plus Affinity Photo and Publisher because I really wanted a vectoring program and I liked that the 'Affinity Trinity' programs effectively replace Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign when used together.

Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer I was starting to have glitches with my very old copy of Photoshop and there was no way I could afford the subscription for the latest version of the program. Industry: Retail. Great graphic design software Pros Affinity Designer is a great one-time purchase software for graphic design.

Cons I don't have any formal training in graphic design so learning a new program can be difficult. Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer At the time I installed Affinity Designer, they were offering an extended free trial.

Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer I was looking for program with more features as my design needs changed in my business.

Industry: Design. The best design software ever - Fast development for my customers - For any visit card design or else, it's very immersive Pros I've been using affinity for about 3 years. Cons Sometimes, I need to go to Illustrator for some specific features such as color overall management or width modification.

Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer For the features listed above. Pros The interface is less complicated. Cons There is no image tracing option. Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer These alternatives were nearly prefect for me. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer The affordability was the main reason to switch. Cons The management of ,global colours' and 'normal colours' needs some getting used to. Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer The two reasons I chose Affinity Designer over other evaluated software: - There is two more products in the suite Affinity Photo and Publisher and "working seamlessly together" is an understatement StudioLink basically melts the three applications into one - Out of the three products I looked at Affinity Designer is the one with the best export options for print-ready PDF documents.

Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer I switched because Affinity Designer comes at a one-off price and the software I used before switched to a subscription model. Excellent alternative to Adobe Illustrator With the exception of a few missing features and performance issues that would be nice to have, the experience has been excellent. Pros Affinity Designer is very affordable alternative that does most things as well as Adobe Illustrator and a few things it does even better!

Cons Unfortunately Affinity Designer is missing some of the more advanced features available in Illustrator, though none of these will be a deal-breaker for most users. Absolutely Incredible Affinity has hit every expectation and then some.

Pros Real-time changes during designing and editing. Cons Doesn't like the corner tool at times. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer Affinity does not have a subscription fee. Pros The main reason I bought the program was because it integrates with Affinity Publisher, another tool from the same company that I needed for book design.

Cons If I were a dedicated graphic design artist, I might have an opinion here. Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer When I saw what Affinity Designer and Photo and Publisher could accomplish as a complete design layout suite, and when I saw how little I had to spend to access such power, I couldn't justify leaving it behind. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer I've been using PaintShop Pro as an alternative to Adobe Photoshop for years, but I've always found the quality of the end result lacking in comparison.

Time used: Less than 2 years. The powerhouse of vector design We use Affinity Designer for a myriad of things - from designing logos and graphics for websites, to making merch design for our web comic.

Pros Affinity designer is the software I was waiting for as long as I remember. Cons A solid bitmap tracing option would be nice. Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer The affordable price and the completeness of the package were the middle ground between the expensive and the free option we were looking at. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer We switched to Affinity software because we fell in love with the companies spirit. A good Illustrator alternative, but far from perfect Overall, I recommend Designer, along with the other Affinity apps, but I have something of a love-hate relationship with them.

Pros It's almost impossible to judge any vector illustration software without drawing comparisons excuse the pun to Adobe Illustrator, and in many ways Affinity Designer compares very well.

Cons I have not found the transition from Adobe apps to be an altogether easy one. Switching to Affinity saves me a lot of money and also time Cons Not a complaint, but if this software could somehow use all of the thousands of Photoshop plugins and filters out there, it would be incredible.

Reasons for choosing Affinity Designer Better value, extremely polished and reliable. Reasons for switching to Affinity Designer Mostly price. Ditch Adobe Illustrator.

Affinity Publisher has been in beta for some time, but it's finally available for Windows and Mac. This feature is useful for those who need to create a variety of documents with different page sizes. Affinity also supports several layouts. Affinity Publisher uses the InDesign interface, but offers many more features for modern designers. For example, if you're creating a e-magazine or an interactive PDF, you can set the document to start on the left hand page. This isn't ideal for traditional multi-page documents, but it works great for eMagazines and other content-heavy documents.

You can also import and export a variety of files and formats, and save your work in various formats. Affinity Publisher does not require a subscription. With a free upgrade, you can easily switch between the two.

And the instructor is always there to answer any questions that you might have. Affinity Publisher is worth trying out. And remember, it's worth the investment! Have you tried Affinity Publisher?
